Machine-readable, two-dimensional code
The code contains a unique serial number which can be
used for electronic tracking of the individual instru-
ment. The serial number is based on the global standard
sGTIN (GS1).

The battery requires no maintenance. Since battery cells
are subject to wear and ageing, Aesculap recommends
replacing the battery cells every 12 months.
