Maximum power savings. Only Available for SL CPUs.
Inactivity period is 1 minute in each mode.

Sets each mode individually. Select time-out periods in the
PM Timers section, following.
Min Saving
Minimum power savings. Inactivity period is 1 hour in each
mode (except the hard drive).

PM Control by APM
If Advanced Power Management (APM) is installed on your system,
selecting Yes gives better power savings. The default value is
“Yes”
.
No
System BIOS will ignore APM when power managing the system
Yes
System BIOS will wait for APM’s prompt before it enters any PM
mode (i.e., DOZE, STANDBY or SUSPEND).
Note:
If APM is installed or if there is a task running, even when
the timer has timed out, the APM will not prompt the BIOS
to put the system into any power saving mode
!
NOTE:
If APM is not installed, this option has no effect.

Video Off Method
Determines the manner in which the monitor is blanked.
V/H SYNC+Blank
Turns OFF vertical and horizontal synchronization
ports and writes blanks to the video buffer
DPMS
Select this option if your monitor supports the Display
Power Management Signaling (DPMS) standard of the
Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA). Use
the software supplied for your video subsystem to
select video power management values.
Blank Screen
System only writes blanks to the video buffer.

Video Off After
As the system moves from lesser to greater power-saving modes,
select the mode in which you want the monitor to blank off. The default
value is
“Standby”

Green monitors detect the V/H SYNC signals to turn off its
