Before using the Fix errors feature, we recommend to backup all important
data from your drive to some portable device. It is recommended to run
AVG Scan Disk before starting any other applications, because AVG Scan
Disk needs exclusive access to the scanned drive when fixing errors. Also
do not perform any other actions during the analysis.

Once the checking process is finished, you can save the log by pressing the Save
log button.

6.7. AVG Notepad

AVG Notepad is a simple text editor that allows you to create or edit plain TXT
documents. It can be used to quickly open and edit some system configuration
files, like autoexec.bat, config.sys, system.ini etc.

AVG Notepad supports only very basic formatting. Saving files is possible under
text format with Unicode, ANSI, UTF-8 or Unicode big endian coding. Using different
kinds of coding might be useful when saving documents in special character sets.

6.8. AVG IP Config

AVG IP Config is a utility for managing your network settings. It displays all
current TCP/IP network configuration values and allows you to change them if
needed.
