AVG Rescue CD update selection
From the list of options choose your preferred method for updating.

Update from a folder or a removable media
If you have already downloaded the offline update files (.bin) from the
AVG web site and saved them to some external device, (which is already
connected or inserted) or to a local folder, then you can use this option.

Note: If you plan to update AVG from a USB Flash drive, then it is
necessary to connect the device before you start your computer and run
the AVG Rescue CD.

Update from Internet
If your computer is connected to the Internet by LAN (local area
network), or by a cable modem and AVG Rescue CD was able to detect
your network interface card, you can try to use this option to download
update files directly from the Internet.
