The diagnostic messages can be activated with a DIP switch.
6.2 Configuring the network
A device name must be assigned for a bus coupler slave to
function in the network. IP addresses and subnet masks can be
assigned. Otherwise the configuration software will create
automatic assignments. The following example is based on the
SIMATIC software from Siemens.
The work described here may only be carried out by
qualified electronics personnel and in compliance with the
operator's documentation on configuring the PROFINET-IO
controller, as well as applicable technical standards,
directives, and safety regulations.
