8. Assigning IP Addresses
To ensure communication, all IP addresses must be defined in the
same series, since communication is not possible between different
network segments by means of routers or gateways.
IP addresses within the same series means that the 3 first digits in the
4 number notation must be identical and the last digit must be
different. This assumes that the netmask is defined as 255.255.255.0,
which is standard in AutroSafe.
8.1 AutroMaster Connected to AutroSafe 3
Note that AutroMaster ISEMS does not work with AutroSafe v3.4.0
and earlier. The system requires AutroSafe 3.4.1 and more recent
versions.
When connecting AutroMaster to AutroSafe version 3.4.1 and more
recent 3 versions), the same subnet (IP number series) must be used.
No routing is allowed.
