When the lights on the controller stop blinking, the learning
cycle is successful. The MultiDrive is now calibrated for your
door’s width and sliding friction.
If the power is turned off, the calibration settings are retained. If
the door was open when the power went off, it slowly closes
when the power resumes.
To repeat the learning cycle for a new door opening, switch
DIP 1 to the opposite position then back to the original position.
The learning cycle starts again.

If the door starts to open when first powered up, switch DIP 1
on
. The door will change direction.

On the controller, use the dial (1) to adjust the length of time
the door stays open before closing.
3. Set the controller for pets
When fitted with a pet sensor, the MultiDrive can open the door to
a narrower width suitable for pets. Follow these steps to customize
the opening width for a pet.

With the power to the controller on, switch DIP 3
on
and then
off
. The door begins to close slowly. If the door is already
closed, there is a short delay.
7.
The door then begins to open slowly. When the door reaches
the required opening width for a pet, hold the door to stop it
moving, for example with your foot.
Caution: don’t get
anything caught in the opening door.

After a short delay, the door begins to close slowly. Once the
door is closed, the MultiDrive returns to automatic mode.

Test the pet setting by selecting "pet mode
” on the mode pad.
If the width is incorrect, return to step 1 (switch DIP 3
on
and
then
off
).
4. MultiDrive Mode Settings
•
Unsecured Automatic Mode
– Automatically opens the door for people; pet sensors
are disabled; locking function is disabled; indoor and outdoor sensors are active.
•
Stack Open Mode
– Door can be programmed to open multiple-panels and uses
activate to open/activate to close; locking function is enabled.
•
Secured Automatic Mode
– Automatically opens the door for people using Inside
Mode sensors; Outside sensors and pet sensors are disabled; locking function is
enabled.
•
Pet Mode
– Enables use of pet sensors and allows door to be opened to the pet
width; door can also be opened to full width for people; locking function is enabled.
