End caps 

Steps: 

1.

 

Each end cap has two sliders. Loosen the nuts and push the 
sliders into the two tracks in the base (Figure 28). You may 
need to use a hammer to gently tap the end caps into position.  

2.

 

Tighten the nuts on both sliders.
