FITTED EQUIPMENT
AIR SUSPENSION
Your vehicle has been fitted with a
supplementary air suspension system on the
rear axle. This is called Air Top, is
manufactured by AL-KO, and uses additional
air springs to improve the quality of the
vehicle ride.
The operating pressure may be adjusted by
the vehicle user to suit their requirements.
The system does not increase the carrying
capacity of the rear axle, or the vehicle as a
whole.
Use
The pressure is adjusted by attaching a
garage airline or footpump to the car tyre
type valves located in the passenger door
stepwell. Adjust the pressure on the gauge to
any value in the range stated for the optimum
working pressure, in order to obtain the ride
characteristics you require.
If you choose to have different pressures side
to side, ensure that the difference between
them is not greater than 0.7 bar (10 psi).
Do not inflate to more than the maximum
pressure.
Maintenance
No maintenance is required, although the
system will be checked at the annual
habitation service.
Washing with water is permitted to remove
any salt which may collect during road use.
If there are any problems with the system
contact your dealer, or an AL-KO approved
service centre.
Specification
Optimum working pressure: 1.8 bar (26 psi)
to 2.5 bar (36 psi).
Minimum working pressure: 1.5 bar (22 psi).
Maximum working pressure: 3.0 bar (44 psi).
