FITTED EQUIPMENT
INTERNAL LAYOUT
General
The Kemerton is designed as a two berth
model, with a front lounge and a full width
end bathroom.
Cab Seats
Both the reclining cab seats have full forward
and rearward movement by releasing the
catch on the front of the seat and sliding it to
the required position.
Accommodation Seating
The Kemerton features a forward facing rear
seat, with seat belt, on the nearside and an
inward facing settee on the offside. The
settee has a lift up base giving access to the
underseat storage area.
Please note that Auto Sleepers advise
against the retrofitting of additional seat belts.
Security
Passengers are reminded that it is a legal
requirement to wear the seat belts provided
whilst the vehicle is in motion.
Table
Two tables are supplied with the Kemerton. A
large table with folding legs can be
positioned along the vehicle to form a large
dinette, with the nearside seat lowered to the
bed position to provide additional seating.
When not required this table should be
securely stowed in the front overcab shelf
area.
A smaller pedestal leg table may be fitted to
the hole in the floor at the front of the vehicle
for use with the swivelling front seats. When
not in use the bung should be fitted to the
hole in the floor, and the table top and leg
stored in the clips in the wardrobe.
Caution: Ensure that the folding legs are
locked in place before using the table. The
table must be stored when the vehicle is in
motion.
Kitchen Area
The kitchen area is located towards the rear
of the vehicle and features a Spinflo Triplex
combination oven, grill and hob with three
gas burners. Adjacent to this is a stainless
steel sink with cutlery rack and drainer,
concealed by a Chincjilla glass lid which may
also be used as a chopping board. The sink
is fed by a chrome mixer tap mounted to the
right of the sink. Below the sink is a drawer,
containing a cutlery tray, and two storage
cupboards, one of which contains the red
isolation taps for the gas appliances. For
explanation of the symbols on each tap,
please refer to page 7-6.
Above the cooker is an overhead unit,
housing the microwave oven with it’s isolation
switch on the panel nearby, and a cooker
hood mounted underneath. Another overhead
locker contains the storage racks for the
crockery, which is supplied separately in its
own storage bag.
On the other side of the vehicle is a Thetford
absorption refrigerator with automatic energy
selection and LCD display. The red isolation
tap for it is located on the side of the
refrigerator behind the seat. Above the
refrigerator is a work surface, and to the left
on the wardrobe side, is a cupboard housing
the concealed flat screen TV mounted on a
swing out bracket.
Lighting in the kitchen area is by oval shaped
LED lights, individually switched, mounted
below the overhead lockers, with a large LED
light in the ceiling and also an opening roof
vent.
Bathroom
The bathroom occupies the whole width of
the rear of the vehicle and consists of an
electric flush toilet, a dropdown basin with
mixer tap and a shower with sliding doors.
The shower features a chrome mixer tap and
shower head, a mirror above the basin and a
storage shelf below the basin for bottles etc.
There is a motorised extractor fan in the
ceiling, a blown warm air duct fitted near the
floor, and a plastic mat prevents damage to
the shower tray when not in use.
Lighting in the bathroom is provided by two
LED lights, individually switched, one in the
shower and another fitted below the
overhead locker, to illuminate the toilet area.
There is also an opening roof ventilator with
hinged flyscreen and roller blind.
