3) Two holes must be drilled in the flue pipe for the tem-
perature sensor. The position of the holes around the
diameter of the flue pipe can be freely selected (see
flue pipe drilling diagram).

4) To install the temperature sensor, you will require the
following parts from the installation kit:

1 x Taptite hex. LKS M5x10 (1)
ð
1 x thermocouple (2)
ð
1 x sensor conduit (3)
ð
Torx screwdriver (not included in the installation
kit)
5) Mount the temperature sensor on the flue pipe (4) as
shown.

6) To connect the installation kit to the controls by means
of the Bowden cable, three holes need to be drilled
into the air ducts (2) of the fireplace insert (lower edge
of air duct 1).

It needs to be decided here where the control unit
is intended to be connected to the installation kit
by means of the Bowden cable. Depending on the
appliance model, the connection can be on the
right, the left or the rear.
