Update and Provisioning

Update settings

Update settings

When performing an automatic update the system checks whether a new 
firmware update is available on the update server, at the set point in time. If 
an update is available, the new firmware is loaded into the telephone if the 
automatic installation of updates is selected.

Requirements:

•

The PBX or telephone must be connected to a broadband Internet 
connection

•

Address of the DNS server entered on the 

Settings > Network > 

Ethernet

•

The set schedule must be entered on the 

Settings > System > Update 

& provisioning > Update

•

The address of the update server must be entered on the 

Settings > 

System > Update & provisioning > Update

•

When the automatic update is performed: Data storage device inserted 
into slot

Check for updates

Automatically install update

Notes:

If only the 

Check for updates

 check box is selected, the system only 

checks for the availability of a new firmware version and, if there is one, 
it displays it. The firmware is not updated until the
