Service and Maintenance

Update and Provisioning

Requirements:

•

The PBX or telephone must be connected to a broadband Internet 
connection

•

The address of the DNS server must be entered in

Important:

 As soon as you tap on 

Provisioning test

, this may delete 

the existing configuration and firmware data, which will be replaced by 
new data. The telephone is restarted.

If the update and provisioning settings for the telephone are correct, and 
configuration and firmware data is present on the servers, this data is loaded 
in the telephone. The firmware is enabled by an immediate restart of the 
telephone.

If the update and provisioning settings for the telephone are incorrect, or no 
data is present on the servers, a message that provisioning has failed is 
displayed in the status line on the telephone.
