7.2 Switching off the sealer and opening the protective
cover
Open the protective cover as follows:
1. Set the main switch to ’0’.
2. Remove the plug from the socket.
Never carry out maintenance on the
Continuous Sealer while it is live.
3. Loosen the two locking handles at the
sides a few turns.
4. Tilt the housing so that the sealing slit is
at the front.
5. Tighten the two locking handles again.
6. Loosen the two bolts near the infeed slit.
7. Open up the protective cover.
Warning! The heating blocks can
still be hot, even if the sealer has
been switched off for a while.
