5.2 Making calls using the phone book
If you have stored numbers in the phone book, you can dial these numbers
directly.
1. To choose a number from the phone book, first press the
button.
2. Now enter the first letter of the name of the person you want to call using the
number pad. After a short time the display will show the first number stored
with this initial letter. You can now search for more numbers with this letter
by turning the Jogdial to the right.
3. To dial the number, press the
ENTER
button. The handsfree facility will be
switched on automatically and the number will be dialled directly.
4. If you want to change to using the receiver, simply lift the receiver.
Note: You can also search for a number directly using the Jogdial without entering
an initial letter. To do this, simply turn the Jogdial after pressing the
button and you will be able to look through the whole list.
When you reach the end of the list the message ENDE DER LISTE will appear.
5.3 Changing numbers in the phone book
1. To choose a number from the phone book, first press the
button.
2. Now enter the first letter of the name of the required party using the number
pad. After a short time the display will show the first number stored with this
initial letter. You can now search for more numbers with this letter by turning
the Jogdial to the right.
3. Now press the
EDIT
button. The first digit of the number will flash in the
display.
4. Move the cursor to the required position using the Jogdial and re-enter the
number or delete the number with the button.
5. Confirm with the
ENTER
button and the first letter of the name will flash.
6. Move the cursor to the required position using the Jogdial and re-enter the
letter or delete the letter with the button.
7. Confirm your entry with the
ENTER
button and the display will show the
message GESPEICHERT.
