Installing an HA System
Users can configure two Mediant 9000 devices to work in a High Availability (HA)
configuration.
To configure an HA system:
Reconfigure a temporary IP address for each, as described in Section
4.2
.
Follow the instructions described under the section 'High Availability System' in the
User's Manual
document to set network topology correctly, and configure each
accordingly using the Web interface.

Upgrading
Users can update the Mediant 9000 in order to (for example) implement software fixes. For
