Once the sub-chassis has been correctly installed on the main base / motor unit,
install the sub-platter. Before the sub-platter can be installed, remove the protective
tape from the top of the main bearing well
. No additional oil needs to be added to
the bearing at this time; the bearing has been fully charged with oil at the
factory
. Once this has been done, carefully insert the sub-platter bearing shaft into
the bearing well. There is no need to press the sub-platter down into the bearing well,
it will eventually settle into place.
