The battery is located in the luggage compartment.
Removal steps:
– Remove luggage compartment back panel trim ⇒ General
body repairs, interior; Rep. gr. 70 ; Luggage compartment trim
panels; Overview of fitting locations - luggage compartment
trim panels .
– Remove luggage compartment floor ⇒ General body repairs,
interior; Rep. gr. 70 ; Luggage compartment trim panels;
Overview of fitting locations - luggage compartment trim pan‐
els .
Procedure:
– Switch on battery tester - VAS 6161- and select “QC check,
new vehicles”.
– Use battery tester - VAS 6161- to measure voltage between
battery clamps.
– Use results of test to determine following measures:
