*1 Do not cover proximity/light sensor with a protective sheet, etc. Functions may
not work correctly.
*2 Be careful not to cover mouthpiece/microphones (upper/lower) with your finger.
*3 The antenna is built into the phone. Covering around the antenna by hand may
affect call/communication quality.
◎ The rear cover of this product cannot be removed. Forcibly
attempting to remove the rear cover may cause damage or a
fault.
◎ The battery is built-in to the product and you cannot remove it.
◎ There is no microSD memory card slot on this product. You will
need a commercial memory card reader/writer to use a microSD
memory card.
◎ To forcibly restart the product, refer to "Turning the power on/
off" (

au Nano IC Card 04
Your phone number etc. is recorded on the au Nano IC Card 04.
This product is compliant with au Nano IC Card 04 only. IC
cards other than the au Nano IC Card 04 cannot be used.
Power off the product before attaching/removing the au
Nano IC Card 04.
• The bundled SIM card removal tool (sample) is necessary to
insert/eject the au Nano IC Card 04.
• Do not insert the bundled SIM card removal tool (sample) into
any hole other than the tray eject hole.
• Do not touch the IC (metal) part of the au Nano IC Card 04 or
the IC card terminal inside the product.

• Check that the card is inserted in the correct direction.
• Do not lose the au Nano IC Card 04 after it has been removed.
• Do not insert an IC card to which a conversion adapter is
