Setting Packet Delimiter
Packet delimiter is a way for packaging serial data. It can prevent serial data from being
truncated by packaging them in the same Ethernet packet. SE5002D provides two kinds of
packet delimiter: Timer and Character. The default value for the timer is 2 ms (0 ms to disable
this function). This means that if SE5002D does not receive new serial data within 2 ms, it will
send out all the serial data in buffer in one packet over Ethernet. The way to change the delimiter
timer is shown in the following figure,
