6.3 Coverage Range Extender Setup
Extending from the above scenario, if the distance needs to be further extended, it is always
possible to add more AW5500C (in
WDS Hybrid
mode) in between the existing one. The
WDS
MAC address
of the newly added AW5500C (in
WDS Hybrid
mode) should be
MAC address
of the AW5500C that it is directly connecting to, not the
MAC address
of the AW5500C in
WDS Root
mode. Note that AW5500C in
WDS Station
mode does not allow both wireless
client and AW5500C (in
WDS Hybrid
mode) to connect in. Normally it should be the last
AW5500C in the wireless topology if utilized.
