6.2  Basic WDS Setup 

The  following  figure  illustrates  two  sites  with  some  considerable  distance  apart.  Ethernet 

cabling  is  impossible  to  the  adjacent  site.  The  adjacent  site  has  both  wireless  clients  and 

Ethernet clients. Note that if the 

Access Point

 function is not required at the adjacent site (no 

wireless clients), 

WDS Hybrid 

can be changed to 

WDS Station.
