DANGER
CHECK THAT STAFF ON THE GROUND
IS AT A REASONABLE DISTANCE
FROM THE MACHINE TO PREVENT
ANY RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE
HEARING SYSTEM.
DANGER
IF THE ALARM SOUNDS STOP ALL
OPERATIONS IMMEDIATELY.
TAKE THE TELESCOPE BACK IN THEN
LOWER THE PLATFORM FULLY AND
SET THE MACHINE LEVEL AGAIN
BEFORE
RAISING
THE
WORKING
PLATFORM AGAIN.
DANGER
NEVER PLACE ANY OBJECTS ON THE
INCLINE DETECTOR.
3.3.2 HORN
The horn is located on the turret, next to the ground control station. It is actuated by the push
button located on the basket control unit.
3.3.3 SOUND ALARM 112DB
The sound alarm (112 dB) is located on the turret,
next to the ground control station. It is activated by
the different safety devices (e.g. tilt detector, basket
overload).
3.3.4 LIGHT INDICATORS
Each light indicator has an important meaning to which the operator must bear attention, as they
are connected to the machine's safety devices.
3.3.5 TILT DETECTOR
The incline detector in the ground command station
constantly measures the machine's tilt.
-NOTE-
This mechanism must not guide how the
machine is used. Do not raise the platform or
move with the platform on inclines, hilly or
loose surfaces.
When the structure is in low position, the light
comes on to indicate that the machine's tilt level
is too high for the platform to be raised.
When the structure is raised, the tilt light comes
on and an alarm is sounded when the maximum
tilt authorised is reached.
The alarm indicates that the machine has
reached its stability limit.
Different movement cutout levels may be configured if the acceptable tilt is exceeded.
Mode 1:
- Sideways movement cutout when the maximum tilt authorised is reached.
Mode 2:
- Sideways movement cutout when the maximum tilt authorised is reached.
- Arm 2 movement and orientation cutout until the telescope is taken back in.
- Telescope out movement cutout
- Structure movement speed reduction.
- Combined movements prohibited.
Mode 3:
- Sideways movement cutout when the maximum tilt authorised is reached.
