Take care that no dirt drops into the dry pump.

Provide labels, warning the operator that:

The vacuum pump may automatically restart after voltage failure (if
activated, consult us).
▪
The vacuum pump is automatically controlled and may be restarted
automatically.
▪
The vacuum pump may be remotely controlled.

Check the programmed settings. Consult section
page 75.

Verify that the inlet control valve is connected to the required compressed air
supply.

Start the pump
.
To start the pump do the steps that follow:
1.
Set the electrical supply to on.
2.
Make sure that the voltage on LED illuminates.
3.
Push the start button on the control panel. The pump operates and the
automatic operation LED illuminates.
4.
Open the inlet isolation valve.

During operation
WARNING:
Risk of injury or damage to equipment. When the motors are stopped and LED
(automatic operation) is lit, the motors may start automatically.
WARNING:
Risk of injury or damage to equipment. Do not operate the pump with the
enclosure panels removed.
CAUTION:
Risk of damage to the equipment. When the automatic operation LED is lit, the
regulator is automatically controlling the vacuum pump, for example - loading,
purging, stopping of the motors and restarting
Check the display
▪
Regularly check the display for readings and messages.
▪
The display shows the vacuum pressure of the pump, and the different icons
show the status of the pump.
▪
If the alarm LED is lit or flashes, correct the fault. Refer to
31.
