5.2. Hot water connection
The French regulations require a maximum domestic hot water temperature of 50° C at the point of
use in the bathrooms. In other rooms, the DHW temperature is limited to 60° C at the points of use.
If synthetic pipes (e.g. PER, multilayer, etc.) are used, a thermostatic regulator must be installed at
the outlet of the water heater. It must be set according to the performance of the material used.
5.3. Condensate pipe installation
I.
Insert the condensate drain pipe (3) onto the
drain manifold (2) on the right side of the back
of the product.
II.
Attach the pipe holder (1) to the drain pipe and
tighten it in the overlap area of the pipe and the
manifold.
III. Connect the other end of the pipe to the
wastewater drain via a siphon..
A wastewater siphon is absolutely required.
Filling the water heater
6.
In the case of an ACI type water heater, if the water heater is powered off for more than 1 week, it
must be drained.
I.
Open hot water faucet (s).
II.
Open the cold water faucet located on the safety unit (make sure that the drainage valve of the unit is in the
closed position).
III. After draining the hot water faucets, close them. The water heater is filled with water.
IV. Check the pipe joints for watertight and if the hydraulic components work properly by opening the drainage valve
of the safety unit several times to eliminate any sediment built-up in the drainage valve.
