Setting the clock functions
For the ‘Preparation time’ or ‘End time’ you must set an oven function and temperature. This is
not necessary for the ‘Kitchen timer’.
1. Hold the ‘Clock’ button until the symbol for the required clock function flashes.
2. Press the ‘+’ or ‘–’ button to set the time for the required clock function.
The clock function starts. The display shows the information for the clock function you set.
The display shows the time remaining for the ‘Kitchen timer’ function.
3. When the time has elapsed, the clock function flashes and a sound signal will begin. Press
any button to stop the signal.
4. Turn the knob for the oven functions and the temperature knob to the off position.
For the ‘Preparation time’ and ‘End time’ functions the appliance switches off
automatically.
Cancelling the clock functions
1. Hold the ‘Clock’ button until the symbol for the required oven function flashes.
2. Hold the ‘–’ button.
The clock function switches off after a few seconds.
Additional functions
Cooling fan
When the appliance is in operation, the cooling fan is turned on automatically to keep the
surfaces of the appliance cool. After the appliance is switched off, the fan may continue to run
until the appliance is cool.
Safety thermostat
Incorrect operation of the appliance or defective components can result in dangerous
overheating. To prevent this the oven has a safety thermostat which interrupts the power supply.
The oven activates again automatically once the temperature has dropped.
