If you notice a crack on the cooking surface (no matter how little),
switch off the appliance immediately. Remove the plug from the
socket or set the switch of the power supply cable (in the case of a
fixed connection) to zero or turn off the fuse switch(es) in the meter
cupboard. Phone the service department.
This appliance should only be connected up by a registered electrical
installer!
The electrical connection must comply with national and local
regulations.
Damage caused by incorrect connection, incorrect use or incorrect
building in is not covered by the guarantee.

If the appliance does not work properly, this does not always mean
that it is defective. Try to deal with the problem yourself first by
checking the points mentioned below:

The fan keeps on running after the appliance has
been switched off.
The electronic circuits inside the hob are
being cooled.
This is normal.
The hob does not work and the lights are not on.
The appliance has been connected
incorrectly or the mains voltage is not right.
Check the electrical installation (main
fuse(s) or the connection).
After the zone has been switched on, the zone
displays continue to flash.

While cooking, you hear a rattling noise in the
base of the pan.
The noise is due to the high power of the
cooking zone having an effect on the base of
the pan.
This is normal for some pans on higher
settings. It is harmless for the induction hob.
When you use the hob the first time, you notice
that it smells 'new'.
This is caused by the appliance's finish
heating up. It is perfectly normal.
The odour will disappear of its own accord
as a result of ventilation.
You hear a ticking sound in your hob.
This is caused by the appliance switching
over from the rear cooking zone to the front
one and back again or if you choose a low
setting.
This is normal.
The cooking zone suddenly stops during use. You
hear a beep.
The time programmed has expired.
Switch the beep off by pressing the + or -
button of the timer.
Failure code F00...F08
A button was pressed too long or there is an
object or water on top of it.
Remove the object. Switch on the appliance
again.
Failure code FA
The appliance has been connected
incorrectly or the mains voltage is too low.
Check the connection. Contact your energy
supplier if the problem remains.
Failure code F0...F6
Defect of generator.
Contact the service department.
Failure code F8
Appliance over heated.
The appliance has been switched off because
of over heating. Let the appliance cool down
and start again on a lower setting.
Failure code F9
The appliance has been connected
incorrectly or the mains voltage is too high.
Modify you're your connection.
Failure code F99
You have pressed two buttons at the same
time.
Do not operate more than one button at the
same time.
Continuous beep.
The appliance has been connected
incorrectly or the mains voltage is not
right.
Let your connection be changed.
