Transmitter Care and Handling
•
Clean the remote gently with a damp cloth. Do not
dip the remote in water or spray it with a hose.
•
Do not store outside or expose it to extreme temper-
atures
•
Do not drop the remote or otherwise subject it to
physical shock
•
Remove the remote from the machine before weld-
ing on the machine
•
Do not paint electrical connectors
•
Use only the factory provided antenna and cabling.
•
Do not open the remote transmitter enclosure
except to change the radio channel or to make
adjustments to factory settings
Feed Forward Starts forward movement of the feed
chain and compression roll. Starts the
adaptive feed control system.
Disch ON/
Fast
The three conveyor belt speeds are
slow, medium, and fast. When first
pressed after engine startup, this button
starts the conveyor in medium speed.
Each time the button is pressed, the
speed changes to the next higher
speed.
When pressed while in fast speed, the
speed returns to slow.
Feed Stop
Stops movement of the feed chain and
compression roll.
Disch OFF
Stops the discharge conveyor.
Feed Reverse Reverses direction of the chain and
compression roll.
TRACK
functions
Not operational on non-tracked
machines.
Lowers the spiral splitter for operation.
Raises the spiral splitter for storage.
Turns on and off the rotation of the
spiral splitter. Press and hold to reverse
rotation.
Feed Fast
Each time this button is pressed, chain
speed increases in 2.5 ft./min.
increments. The roll speed increases
accordingly.
Feed Slow
Each time this button is pressed, chain
speed decreases in 2.5 ft./min.
increments. The roll speed decreases
accordingly.
a. Use of the red OFF & STOP button to stop the engine re-
quires the transmitter to be in range and its batteries to be
charged. To stop the engine properly, rotate the Engine
control to the Stop position.
