Premmia PS Series

Installing a Memory Module

1. Follow the instructions on page 40 to remove the system cover.
2. Holding the new DIMM only by the edges, remove it from its anti-static package.
3. Ensure that the notches in the bottom edge of the DIMM align with the notches in

the DIMM socket.

4. Insert the bottom edge of the DIMM into the DIMM socket, making sure that it is

seated firmly. When the DIMM seats correctly, the retaining clips snap into place.

5. Reconnect any cables you had to unplug.
6. Follow the instructions on page 41 to replace the system cover.
