The sensitivity setting of the alarm “Check dressing seal” is now displayed.
The sensitivity can be adjusted with the
arrow buttons.

When the sensitivity is set to “0”, the alarm “Check dressing seal” is deactivated.
Only the alarm “System open” will be triggered if the canister is connected
inaccurate or the tubing system is open.
For this setting, it is obligatory to reduce the interval time for checking the
dressing seal by the personnel to detect potential leakages in the aspirating
system promptly.

Press the
button to confirm the entry.

The patient runtime is now displayed.
9.
Press the
button for 3 seconds to reset the patient runtime to zero.
10.
Exit the patient mode by pressing the
button.

on a new patient,
it must be verified that the currently set alarm sensitivities are appropriate for this
patient.
The setting of the alarm sensitivities is important to adapt the alarm system to the several
wound situation of the patient.
The adjustment of the alarm sensitivities may only be carried out by qualified and
authorized personnel (Certificate of attendance for an extended product training is
required).
Always take care that the alarm sensitivities must be set contrary. That means you have
to increase the sensitivity of the alarm “System closed” if you have a low sensitivity of the
alarm “Check dressing seal” to detect possible changes of the wound situation of the
patient during the therapy.
