Operation
Monitoring of the door release interval
The release interval of the door is monitored by the escape door control terminal.
Mode 1
The maximum duration of the temporary release is set using
rotary switch S1
(Tab. 3 page 55). The maximum duration of the pre-alarm is set on the
rotary
switch S2
(Tab. 4 page 55). The duration of the acoustic alarm is set on the
rotary
switch S3
(Tab. 5 page 55)
Mode 2
The maximum duration of the temporary release and the pre-alarm are set on the
bus control panel

The sequence of functions is triggered via terminals 9/10 if the door is not closed.
Acknowledging an alarm
A triggered alarm must be acknowledged when the door is closed. The door is
locked, the red and yellow LEDs remain lit. Unlocking will completely stop the
alarm.
Pre-alarm
The acoustic pre-alarm warns that the door must be closed after a temporary
release. The acoustic signal is reduced in volume.
Other functions that are only triggered in the event of an alarm remain
deactivated.
Ending the pre-alarm
The pre-alarm is ended (“About this manual”, page 41)
· when the door is closed
· Activate a temporary release via an external switch or
· activate a permanent release
