The 1340 escape door control terminal
General
The 1340 escape door control terminal (Fig. 1) is designed to control and monitor a
single escape door. It contains all of the control electronics, so no additional
control unit is required. All relevant operating and control elements are integrat-
ed in the control terminal and therefore do not need to be connected externally
in addition.
Product models
Model 1340-20 (surface mounted) / Model 1340-21 (flush mounted)
The 1340-20 escape door control terminals do not have an integrated power supply.
For this reason, it is necessary to supply the control terminals and the locking
elements with power via an external power supply. The control terminals can be
operated as stand-alone devices or as bus devices.
Model 1340-14 (surface mounted) / Model 1340-15 (flush mounted)
The 1340-14/-15 escape door control terminal is intended for stand-alone opera-
tion. It has the same functionality as the 1340-20/-21 model, but without bus
support.
