Outside Escutcheon and Mounting Plate Installation
NOTE:
Feed mortise connectors through the
corresponding hole on the mounting
plate.
1. Attach the mounting plate using (2)
#8-32 x 3/8" Phillips flat head
undercut combo screws in the upper
left and middle right
positions of the mounting plate and
(2) #8-32 x 3/8" Phillips flat head
screws in the bottom positions.
Inside of Door
2. Feed the reader cable located on
the back of the outside escutcheon
through the door prep. Remember,
the outside gasket must be used when
installing in an outdoor application
(Figure 1).
3. Secure the mounting plate to the
outside escutcheon with (2) #8-32 x 2”
flat head machine screws (Figure 2).
