Pitch Sync OFF
For the Single Press or Double Press pitch sync function, when the “P-S” hotkey is enable
and becomes disabled, a “PITCH-SYNC OFF” annunciation shall be displayed below the
aircraft symbol for 5 seconds (or as configured in the configuration module) before
fading-out. When the “P-S” hotkey is unavailable and the “P-S” hotkey is pushed, no
annunciation shall be displayed below the aircraft symbol.
The DFC90 message shall be suppressed when a pitch sync annunciation is displayed
(See FIGURE 3-13)
Pitch Sync Bubble
Whenever the “P-S” hotkey is enabled, a “P-S” bubble shall be displayed in the attitude
display as shown.

Pitch Limit
When the “P-S” hotkey is disabled and the “P-S” hotkey becomes enabled, the current
pitch reference line shall become the zero (0) pitch reference line if the pitch is within
the pitch limit.
When the “P-S”hotkey is disabled and the “P-S” hotkey is pushed, the pitch reference line
shall remain at the zero (0) pitch reference line if the pitch is not within the pitch limit.
When the “P-S” hotkey is enabled and the “P-S” hotkey becomes disabled, the pitch
reference line returns to the original pitch reference line.
