10. Electric wiring procedure
- Do not wire while the power is on. (There is a possibility of electric shock.)
- Do not touch any parts on actuator circuit board or terminal block. (There is a possibility of
electric shock or equipment damage.)
- Do not exceed the rated capacity of contact limit switch.
- Do not connect two or more motor-driven valves in series.
- Do not use the product near high-voltage wire, inverter, or any other equipment that produces
electrical noise or magnetism. (The presence of such nearby may cause malfunction or
breakdown.)
- If you do not wire the signal lines, do not remove the sealing plug that came with the cable
gland.
- Install a switch (or a relay contact) for each motor-driven valve.
- Make sure to ground the earth line. (Electrical leakage could occur, leading to electrical shock,
fire, or other accident.)
- At the working, ensure that your hands are free of water and oil. (There is a possibility of electric
shock or equipment damage.)
- Follow the wiring diagram and wire correctly.
- Check the integrity of wiring insulation before connecting to the actuator.
- Tighten the terminal block with the recommended tightening torque (0.15 to 0.18 N-m) so that
it will not come loose. (There is a risk of electric shock or malfunction)
- Be careful not to let the conductors of the lead wires come into contact with each other. (There
is a risk of short circuit and fire)
-Tighten the cable gland securely with the recommended tightening torque (3 N-m). (There is a
risk of electric leakage or electric shock due to the ingress of rainwater, etc.
-The base cover is sealed with an O-ring. If you remove the base cover and reattach it, make
sure the O-ring is set correctly. (If the seal is insufficient, rainwater may enter the inside of the
actuator, resulting in electric shock or malfunction.)
-When using the product outdoors or in a place exposed to moisture such as rainwater, be sure
to tighten the cable connector of the actuator against the ingress of rainwater and all other
moisture. (Rainwater, etc. may enter the actuator and cause electric shock or malfunction.)
- The actuator supports a free power supply. Use it within the specified source voltage range. (If
it is used with a voltage out of the range, it may not work or it could break down.)
-The contact limit switch does not support minute loads (1mA to 100mA, 5V to 30V, when
connecting to a PLC, etc.) as a standard product, so select an optional product to use.
- Keep the equipment connected to the contact limit switch for the open / close signal within the
contact capacity (1A). (May be damaged)
- The length of the power supply cable to be connected should be 100 meters or shorter. (If the
cable length is longer than 100 meters, the actuator could malfunction.)
- If the distance from the operation panel to the actuator exceeds 100 meters, install a relay
between them. The distance from the relay to the actuator should be 100 meters or shorter.
