Connect the Ethernet cable to the unit.
5.
Connect the power injector to the Ethernet cable, a local LAN network point
and an AC power source.
6.
Orient the antennas.
Mounting the AP
Using the Pole-Mounting Bracket
Perform the following steps to mount the unit to a 1.5 to 2 inch diameter steel
pole or tube using the mounting bracket:
1.
Always attach the bracket to a pole with the open end of the mounting
grooves facing up.
2.
Place the U-shaped part of the bracket around the pole and tighten the
securing nut just enough to hold the bracket to the pole. (The bracket may
need to be rotated around the pole during the alignment process.)
3.
Use the included nuts to tightly secure the wireless Access Point to the
bracket. Be sure to take account of the antenna polarization direction; both
antennas in a link must be mounted with the same polarization.
