Transfer Kit

These instructions describe the procedure for transferring the aseptic battery pack
into the aseptic battery housing, using the aseptic transfer kit.

Sterile Technician

Non-sterile Circulating Nurse

The Sterile Technician holds the aseptic battery housing (sterile)
upright and places the aseptic transfer kit (sterile) on top.

The Non-sterile Circulating Nurse places the aseptic battery pack (non-
sterile) down into the aseptic battery housing (sterile) through the
aseptic transfer kit (sterile) until the aseptic battery pack is fully seated.

The Non-sterile Circulating Nurse then removes the aseptic
transfer kit, and the Sterile Technician closes the sterile battery
housing door.
