These instructions describe the procedure for indexing the head of the sagittal saw
attachment. The sagittal saw attachment can be indexed in 45
°
increments or 8
positions in 360 degrees.

With the sagittal saw attachment affixed to the handpiece, grasp
the very end of the sagittal saw with your thumb and forefinger.
Then pull the attachment away from the handpiece.

This will release the locking mechanism and allow you to
rotate the saw head either left or right. Picture 2 in Figure
12 shows the sagittal saw head being turned
counterclockwise.

Turn the saw head to the desired position and release it so that it
locks back in place.
