Chapter 6. Wiring
The unit is supplied ready for wiring, without the need to access its interior. The connection to
the saTECH BCU is carried out using the following terminals:
Communications via standard connectors for each case.
Digital input/output signals and analogue dc signals using female connectible terminals
with side bracket and tie-screw connection.
Direct capture from current and power transformers via cables with tipped or ringed
termination screwed to a plug-in terminal.

6.1. Grounding
Connect the ground terminal marked with the symbol at the back of the unit. Use an AWG
14 (2.5 mm2) cable of more than 2m in length. The cable must support a 90° C working
temperature.
The unit’s grounding must be connected before any other of the unit’s terminals and, in the
event of uninstalling the unit, must be the last to be withdrawn.
