*  Use  the  pushrod  connector  supplied  in  the  accessory  bag  to  join  the  section  of
pushrod  that  came  with  the  rudder  to  the  end  of  the  pushrod  projecting  through  the
transom via the black rubber pushrod seal in the center of the rudder bracket.
Note:  You  might  still  need  to  adjust  the  length  of  the  pushrod  after  you  install  the
steering servo (we'll do that later) in order to center the rudder for proper control when
running your boat.
*  Connect the  water  cooling  tube that  projects  through the  transom to the  nipple  on
the top of the rudder blade.

Step 4: Turn Fin Installation And Performance Tip

* A curved hydro turn fin is supplied in the accessory bag along with mounting bolts
and nuts.
* On the back of the starboard sponson is a preinstalled bracket. (The starboard side
is  the  righthand  side  when  looking  at  the  boat  from  behind  it;  the  sponson  is  the
lowest part of the hull that rides on the surface of the water.) Slip both of the supplied
bolts through the bracket and through the turn fin. Start the nut onto the top bolt then
use a 7mm spanner to hold the nut and a 4mm hex wrench to screw in the bolt. Repeat
for the lower bolt. Before finally tightening the bolts, position the turn fin as shown in
the above right photo.
