HOW TO USE

Before First Use:

1. Read all instructions and important safeguards.
2. Remove all packaging materials and make sure that all items are received in

good condition. 

3. Tear up all plastic bags as they can pose a risk to children.
4. Wash the frying basket and nonstick frying pot with a sponge or dishcloth in

warm soapy water. Completely dry the entire bottom of frying pot before use.

5. Wipe the body clean with a damp cloth.
6. Place the deep fryer on a level, stable surface.

Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Do not immerse the appliance in water at any time.

Oil Selection:

1. We recommend the following oils for healthier deep-frying: corn, canola, or blended

vegetable oil. These oils are cholesterol-free and low in saturated fat.

2. We do not recommend using peanut oil, soy oil, sunflower oil, or lard that

may drip and deteriorate quickly when heated.  Heavily flavored oils such as
olive oil should also be avoided.

3. We do not recommend mixing old and new oil together as this spoils new oil

quicker. 

4. The number of times that the frying oil can be reused would depend on the

food that is fried in it.  For example, when foods such as fish battered with
bread or cracker crumbs are fried frequently, the oil will need to be replaced
more often.

Preheat Oil:

1. Position the temperature control to the lowest temperature and make sure

that the fryer is unplugged.  

2. Wipe dry the nonstick frying pot and fill it with oil no higher than the MAX

level line and no lower than MIN level line.  Oil level must always be
between the minimum and maximum line marks. 

3. Plug the fryer into a wall outlet, and the power light will illuminate red.  
4. Close the lid by pressing down until it snaps closed.
5. Set the temperature control to the desired degree and the fryer will begin

heating the oil. 

6. When the green light illuminates, your deep fryer is ready for frying.

UTILISATION

2.Retirer tout le matériel d'emballage et s'assurer que toutes les pièces sont

3.Déchirer tous les sacs en plastique, car ils représentent un danger d'asphyx

4.Laver le panier d'égouttage et la cuve de cuisson antiadhésive avec une

éponge ou une lavette dans une solution d'eau chaude savonneuse.

Assécher entièrement la base de la cuve de cuisson avant d'utiliser la fri-

teuse.

5.Nettoyer la friteuse avec un chiffon humide.

6.Placer la friteuse sur une surface de niveau et stable.

Ne pas utiliser de nettoyants abrasifs ni de tampons à récurer. 

Ø

Ne jamais immerger la friteuse dans l'eau.

Choix de l'huile :

1.Pour une cuisson santé, nous recommandons les huiles suivantes : maïs,

canola ou huile végétale. Ces huiles sont sans cholestérol et présentent une

faible teneur en gras saturé.

2.Nous déconseillons l'utilisation de l'huile d'arachide, de soja, de tournesol ou

de saindoux; ces huiles risquent d'éclabousser et de se détériorer rapide-

ment lorsqu'elles sont chauffées.  Il est également recommandé d'éviter d'u-

tiliser des huiles fortement aromatisées comme l'huile d'olive.

3.Nous déconseillons également de mélanger de l'huile usée avec de l'huile

fraîche, car cette pratique contribue à la détérioration rapide de l'huile

fraîche. 

4.Le nombre de fois que pourra être réutilisée l'huile dépendra des aliments

cuisinés.  Par exemple, la cuisson fréquente de poisson enrobé de

chapelure de pain exigera que l'on remplace l'huile plus fréquemment.

Préchauffage de l'huile :

1.Placez la commande à la température la plus basse et assurez-vous que la

friteuse n'est pas branchée.  

2.Asséchez la cuve de cuisson antiadhésive et remplissez-la d'huile au-delà

du repère MIN, mais sous le repère MAX.  Le niveau d'huile doit toujours se

situer entre les repères minimal et maximal (MIN et MAX). 

3.Branchez le cordon d'alimentation dans la prise murale; le voyant d'alimen

-

tation rouge s'allume.  

4.Fermez le couvercle jusqu'à ce qu'il s'engage en un clic.

5.Réglez la température au niveau désiré pour chauffer l'huile de la friteuse. 

6. Lorsque le voyant vert s'allume, votre friteuse est prête pour la cuisson des

aliments.
