Note:
· Before placing the inner
pot into the cooker,
check that the cooking
pot is dry and free of
debris. Adding the inner
pot when wet may
damage the cooker.

Yogurt
1. Add 8 cups of whole milk to the inner pot.
2. Place the inner pot in the cooker, then
close the lid.
3. Plug the power cord into an available
120V AC outlet.
4. Press the
Keep Warm/( )
to turn the cooker
on.

. The cooker will beep to indicate that
it has set.
6. Open the lid and stir the milk every 5 minutes
and check the temperature with a kitchen
thermometer until it reaches 180 degrees
Fahrenheit. Heating will take approximately
20 minutes.
7. Once the milk has reached the correct
temperature, press
Keep Warm/( )
to turn off
the cooker.
8. Allow milk to cool to 115 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cooling will take approximately 30-45
minutes.
9. In a glass bowl, add 4 tablespoons of yogurt or
starter culture. Take ½ cup of milk from the inner
pot and add to the bowl of yogurt. Mix lightly to
combine.
10. Add and stir the yogurt mixture back into the
milk in the inner pot. Make sure the outside of the
inner pot is clean and dry, then place the inner
pot back into the cooker.

to turn the cooker on.

. The default time is 8 hours;
time can be adjusted to 6-12 hours.
13. When cooking is complete, pour off any
liquid from the top or strain yogurt through
cheese cloth for a thicker consistency.
14. When finished, turn the cooker off by

twice and unplug
the power cord.
15. Store and refrigerate yogurt in an airtight
container.
