Behaviour in an emergency
•
Turn off the device.
•
In an emergency, disconnect the device from the power supply: Unplug the power cord from
the power outlet by touching it on the power plug.
•
Do not reconnect a defective device to the power connector.
Overheating protection
The device has a safety thermostat that is activated in case of overheating (exceeding the operating
temperature) of the device.
When the safety thermostat is turned on, the device turns off.
When the device has cooled down sufficiently, the heating turns on again.
Look for the cause of the overheating.
If the safety thermostat does not switch in case of overheating, the overheating protection triggers.
The device then switches off completely. In this case, contact customer service to have the
overheating fuse replaced.
