Info: The display has a backlight. The backlight turns on as soon as one of the buttons on the control 
panel or the remote control is pressed. After about 1 min without actuation, the backlight turns off 
again. 
 

Turn on the device control panel 

After you have set up the device ready for operation as described in the chapter Assembly and 
Commissioning, you can switch it on. 

 

Set the power button (8) to position I. 
The device is now in standby mode. 

 

Press the Power button (2). 
The device is turned on. 

 

Setting operating modes 

The device has the following operating modes: 

 

Heating mode 

 

Frost Guard Mode 

 

Set heating mode 

 

Press the Mode button (5) until the desired heating level is selected. You can choose between 
three levels. 
The selected performance level (12) is displayed in the segment display. 

 

Frost Guard Mode 

In frost guard mode, the device heats automatically. This temperature cannot be changed. 

 

Press the Mode button (5) until the Frost Guard indicator appears. 
The device heats automatically when the temperature is below 5 °C. 

 

Set desired room temperature control panel 

The room temperature determined by the temperature sensor is displayed in the Actual 
Temperature (11) display. You can set the desired room temperature at any time. The setting is only 
possible in heating mode. The room temperature is preset to 25 °C. 

 

Press  the  Increase  Value  (7)  or  Decrease  Value  (8)  arrow  key  to  set  the  desired  room 
temperature. The setting range is between 5 °C and 37 °C in 1° steps. 
The set room temperature is displayed in the Target Temperature (14) display. 

 
Info: The desired room temperature should be higher than the current room temperature. 
 

Ventilation control panel 

 

Press the Ventilation button (6) to turn on the fan. 
The Ventilation (13) indicator appears. 

 

Press the Ventilation button (6) to turn off the fan. 
The Ventilation (13) indicator goes out. 

 

Set timer 

The timer works as follows: 

 

automatic switch-off according to the preset number of hours. 

The number of hours can range from 1 to 24 hours and can be set in 1-hour increments. If the timer is 
enabled, the time is also displayed in minutes. 

 
Hint! 

 The device must not be operated unattended in a freely accessible room when the timer is 

active.
