Maintenance
7.1
General maintenance instructions
●
Observe the maintenance instructions and maintenance intervals in the service
booklet.
●
Have any maintenance work not described in this manual carried out by an
authorised Arctic Cat specialist repair shop.
●
Only use operating materials authorised by Arctic Cat.
●
Do not drive the vehicle if strange noises, vibrations or malfunctions occur.
Have the vehicle checked in an authorised Arctic Cat specialist repair shop.
●
The vehicle does not have any lubrication points.
●
The vehicle can be lifted at any point of the underbody.
7.2
Checking the engine oil level
Check engine oil level before every ride, as follows:
1. Remove seat (refer to section 4.20).
2. Remove left-hand panel.
3. Unscrew oil dipstick (1) from the engine housing and wipe with a clean cloth.
4. Screw oil dipstick (1) into the engine housing.
5. Unscrew oil dipstick (1) from the engine housing and read engine oil level on the
oil dipstick (1). The engine oil level shall be within the ribbed surface (2).
ATTENTION
The engine housing gets very hot during operation. Do not touch any engine
parts. Wear suitable protective gloves.
NOTE
Park the vehicle on level ground to check the oil level.
ATTENTION
Only use fully synthetic engine oils from Arctic Cat.
