Bridge Mode
This section describes how a pair of 350AH1A amplifiers may be used in a bridge configuration. The bridged
configuration allows for a larger voltage swing than possible with a single amplifier by inverting the second
amplifier and connecting the load between the two outputs. A block diagram of a typical set-up is shown in
Figure 2-5,

Level Setting
Set one of the two amplifiers PHASE to 180 degrees and the other to 0 degrees by pressing the
PHASE
buttons. Place both units in the RF ON mode by pressing the
RF ON/OFF
button. Adjust the RF Generator
output to reach the desired output level.
CAUTION:
Do not connect or disconnect any loads or cables from the amplifier’s RF
Output when the amplifier is in the Operate mode. Dangerous voltages
that could cause serious injury to the user exist at the RF Output when the
amplifier is under power.
