DECKING
THICKNESS
LID INLAY INSTALLATION - Decking
To install decking inlay:
Pre-cut decking to fit Lid. Use Spacer
Plate as template for V-notch if
required (A).
Attach decking to battens with
appropriate timber fasteners (B) or
adhesive.
ENSURE FASTENER LENGTH IS
MINIMUM 2.0mm LESS THAN LID
INTERNAL DEPTH.
To prepare Lid for mounting battens:
Invert Lid and select preferred
mounting points for correct batten
orientation.
Drill holes in pre-moulded locations to
suit preferred fasteners and batten
direction (A).
To attach battens:
Pre-cut two timber battens ensuring
batten thickness equals internal Lid
depth minus decking thickness (A).
Fasten battens into Lid using a
combination of fasteners and
appropriate adhesive (B).
