IGNITION SWITCH
The ignition switch (1) is positioned on the
right side of the steering head.
NOTE
The key (2) operates the ignition
switch / steering lock, the seat lock and the
glove compartment lock.
Two keys are supplied together with the
vehicle (one spare key).
NOTE
Store the spare key in a safe
place (other than on the vehicle).
STEERING LOCK
Never turn the key to position “
+
” when
riding, or you will lose control of the
vehicle.
OPERATION
To lock the steering:
u
Turn the handlebar fully to the left.
u
Turn the key (2) to position “
”.
The simple turning of the key, without
any pressure, operates the seat lock
and not the steering lock.
NOTE
Turn the key and steer the
handlebar at the same time.
u
Press the key (2) and turn it counter
clockwise (to the left), then steer the
handlebar slowly, until the key (2)
reaches position “
+
”.
u
Extract the key.
