SHORTCUT OPERATIONS
CTCSS/DCS Scan
Press key, the top left corner of LCD displays " " icon, press key to enter into CTCSS/DCS
scan. Under this state, rotate the channel knob to change the scanning direction. When the scan receives
CTCSS/DCS signaling, it will stay 5seconds and then continue scanning. Rotate the channel selector knob
to change the scanning direction. When scan the matching CTCSS/DCS signaling, it will stay 5seconds
and then continue scanning. Press any other keys except
, , key to exit.
NOTE: This function will not work when the transceiver is set up in the professional mode or the current
selected channel does not have any CTCSS/DCS signal first set up. If your current channel has its tone
signaling set as CTCSS, it will scan CTCSS, if its tone signaling is set as DCS, it will scan DCS.
Offset Frequency Direction Setup
When in standby, press key, the top left corner of LCD displays " " icon, press key to choose
offset frequency direction. There are 3 options, Plus offset, Minus offset, remove offset.
(+) Plus offset:

Indicates TX frequency is higher than RX frequency. If the reverse function is enabled,
the RX frequency is higher than TX frequency.
(-) Minus offset:

Indicates that the TX frequency is lower than the RX frequency. If the reverse function
is enabled, the RX frequency is lower than TX frequency.
None:
3.
Indicates that the offset is off.
Under frequency mode (VFO) or channel mode, press key then press key to choose plus offset
dir), minus offset direction (-) ,remove offset (Please refer to offset frequency setup).
NOTE: This function is unavailable in professional transceiver mode.
