Serial Port Configuration – Type 6
The Messenger has 4 serial ports (1-4). Port 1 is dedicated to the on-board cellular
modem.
CAUTION: Do not modify the parameters of Port 1.
Port 2 is set to RS485 by the factory. Port 3 is set to RS232 at the factory. NOTE: Not
all parameters shown below apply to every port.
